23/365 Feather macro

I enjoyed my alone time last night & this morning. I did catch the Haiti telethon. Some amazing talent and I heard they think over $50 million was raised! And I :heart: George Clooney!

Played around w/ my macro so instead of a garden or bug shot, my photo for today is a water droplet on a feather from our parakeet. No particular reason for the water droplet except that I'm trying to emulate Kiwi_gal, one of my favorite macro artists.



And I really like today's quote. I follow & participate in several photography forums. I listen to it all, take a bit from each post I read but try not to make any one of them the "be all, end all" of photography. I'm striving to find my own style and shooting what makes me happy.

Listen to all, plucking a feather from every passing goose but, follow no one absolutely.
