Green with envy
This week was a combo of things I envy (though I'm not an envious person by nature) and just green things. Today's just a green thing.

His name is Limey.

Sooo far behind....the rest of my night time photos 81-86/365

Things are absolutely crazy here. Everyone going in 3 different directions at once. I'll try to fill in on the news w/ TODAY's post (if I get caught up).
Anyhoo, the night time theme was a challenge for me. Yes, I took photos...just didn't get them blogged.

I live in a rural area & it's dark. No street lights, few cars passing by (I waited 45 min. before giving up one night trying to get the streaking tail light shot). Here's what I did get...

Mon. 81/365
A flashlight "painting" try:
The moon looks upon many night flowers; the night flowers see but one moon.

Tues. 82/365
Moon

Plus one of my kitty--she kept turning her head so that accounts for the ghostly appearance.

Next theme will be "green with envy"

80/365 Night time

It was raining so no night time photo for me. I had to improvise.

Theme: perspective

I've wanted to do this for a while & finally got the kick in the pants I needed to attempt it.
However, it was late in the day with a cloudy, dreary sky so I didn't get quite what I was after. I'm looking forward to another attempt.

This was totally in camera...NO photoshop (except for the exposure correction, noiseware & sharpening). N was about 4 feet in front of me & K was about 10 feet behind him. I couldn't get N to keep his thumb down, grrr. *L* I needed to close up the aperture too, to get K in better focus...that kinda ruins the effect for me. Oh well.

We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.

74/365 Toy Jeep

This is something I've wanted to try for awhile. This was not the greatest photo for it. The photo needs to be from a higher angle & it's better if there's lots of "stuff" in it but, it was fun trying. Here's a link to the tutorial if you want to give it a go yourself... Tilt-shift effect

And here's today's perspective photo:

Rain, rain go away.
Well, actually it's not raining today but it has for the past two days & the ground is saturated. I know where a gorgeous field of daffodils is, I have a senior girl who is willing to pose for me in said field, but, it's too icky to ask her to sit or lay on the ground. I'm afraid the daffodils will be in bad shape before we get to go take pics so I'm hoping for bright, sunshine-y days soon!

This week's themes are perspectives and feet. Should be an interesting week! *L*
